Episode 11 - Ian Braisby - Lost In Translation
I am delighted that Ian Braisby, my guest in Episode 11, is another listener who has decided they would like to be a guest - long may that trend continue !
Ian was born in 1972 in a mining town near Nottingham , in the U.K. Inspired by a certain Mr, Springsteen Ian decided in 1991 to "get out while he was still young and run" 50 miles to the SW and attend Birmingham University where he graduated in Commerce and German.
Married to Sally-Jayne Ian now has an interesting career that combines his own translation business with a contrasting business as a tour guide (His Beatles Tours of Liverpool are very well regarded and I plan to go on one next year)
Six years ago Ian was diagnosed as having High Performing Autism and he now also spends time talking to companies and organisations about how they can do more and get more from the Autistic community. On the morning of our recording he had been doing a presentation to Merseyside Police on this very subject.
Ian's musical tastes are as broad and varied as his career and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him about numerous great bands and fantastic stories and memories.
Many of the bands and songs we touched on in our discussion are on this playlist

In addition, Ian also shared a playlist he compiled a few years ago whilst in therapy. The title of "Emergency Box" will give you some clue but you will have to listen to the episode to get the full story. Hhowever , i can tell you that, having listened to, this playlist it is guaranteed to put a smile on your face
