Episode 8 - Richard Horsfield - Betty Thelwell's Punky Reggae Party
Richard is a dear friend, a dedicated muso with an incredibly wide range of musical tastes and most importantly, at least for me, he's the man who introduced me to the delights of the Austin City Limits Festival each October.
He's also from Jersey but unfortunately in his case it’s the small island which is a British Crown dependency located near the coast of Normandy, France not the state on the east coast of the US.
Richard covers a raft of music in this episode (the most so far) and has a set of great stories, my favorite being about the role of his grandmother Betty Thelwell in feeding his teenage desire for obscure reggae . Take a listen to hear the rest!
