Steven and I met last year after we were guests on Jesse Jackson's Springsteen Podcast Set Lusting Bruce (Setlustingbruce.com)
I started following Steven's excellent blog (powderfingerspeaks.com) and a dialogue was struck up. Having connected digitally over a love of music in general we then realized that we only lived about an hour apart. Subsequent discussions and listening sessions have taken place over a few beers and a bit of lunch and it made perfect sense for Steven to be one of the first guests on Music Talks .
Steven's musical knowledge is as deep as his tastes are wide , spanning the heartbreaking melancholy of Gram Parsons "$1000 wedding" , the Choral music of Allegri and the driving metal of Trivium ....oh and he quite likes Teenage Fanclub!
As is often the case with Music Talks none of these favorite bands and tracks actually made his final list but what made it and why it got there is well worth the listen.
